FAQ (COMMON QUESTIONS)

Q: What is no-sedation teeth brushing?
It’s a gentle, surface-level brushing of your dog’s teeth using pet-safe toothpaste and a soft brush. No anesthesia or sedation is used — it’s a comfort-based, low-stress service.

Q: How is this different from a veterinary dental cleaning?
Our service helps reduce surface plaque and freshen breath, but it is not a replacement for a professional dental cleaning.
Vet cleanings under anesthesia are needed to remove tartar below the gumline and address dental disease.

Q: Is this safe for all dogs?
Most dogs tolerate gentle brushing well, but the service isn’t appropriate for dogs with:

  • Pain while eating or chewing

  • Severe tartar, infection, or oral bleeding

  • Extreme fearfulness of mouth handling

If you’re unsure, please consult your veterinarian before booking.

Q: How often should my dog get their teeth brushed?
Most dogs benefit from brushing every 1–4 weeks, depending on diet, age, and oral health. We can help you choose a schedule that works best for your dog.
