Hi! I’m Heather, and I’m so excited to be Aunt Lucy’s professional dog groomer.
I’ve been in the dog world for 7 years and found my passion for grooming in 2022, training under an award-winning master groomer. Since then, I’ve earned multiple competition awards and shown my NSDT Retriever to his championship title (working toward his grand championship!).
I offer a calm, one-on-one grooming experience tailored to your pup. I can’t wait to meet you both!

What Does Dog Grooming Include at Aunt Lucy's?
At Aunt Lucy’s, every groom is designed for coat health, comfort, and a calm experience—never rushed, always individualized. We use premium, hypoallergenic formulations and low-stress handling so dogs leave clean, comfortable, and confident.
What You Can Expect at Every Appointment

Low-stress, safety-first. If your pup gets too stressed or something isn’t safe, we’ll pause or skip it and try again another time.

Free daycare on groom day. Drop off 6:00am–pick up by 6:00pm. Supervised play or a calm private space—your choice.

Limited spots & hours. Max 4 full grooms/day. Groomer onsite 7:00am–3:00pm; facility open 6:00am–6:00pm.

Premium, hypoallergenic products. Chosen for skin and coat health, not fragrance. Scent-free available.
Core Services
Haircut (Full Groom)
A full nose-to-tail tidy focused on coat health and a polished finish. Includes: A warm hypoallergenic bath (scent-free available), ear cleaning, blow/fluff dry, brush-out, nail grinding, paw & sanitary trim, a custom haircut, plus a bandana (optional light cologne).
Shedless (Bath + De-Shed)
Engineered to reduce shedding at home while respecting skin barrier health. Includes:
A skin-safe de-shed to cut down shedding at home. Includes a warm hypoallergenic bath + conditioner (scent-free available), ear cleaning, blow dry, thorough de-shed/comb-out, nail grinding, paw-pad trim, optional foot/ear trim, and a finishing touch.
Hand Stripping (Wire/Harsh Coats)
Technique-driven care for terriers and wire coats to protect texture, colour, and skin health. Includes: ear cleaning, blow dry, brush/comb, hand stripping, scissor work as needed, nails, paw tidy, and a finishing touch. Optional warm mineral mud bath. Scissor work requires a bath.
