Doggy Daycare Questions
Q: Does my dog need an evaluation first?
A: Yes. Every new dog starts with a daycare evaluation day. We introduce your dog to our calmest daycare dogs one at a time so our trained staff can make sure group play is a good fit, and we go over the results with you at pick-up.
Q: What vaccines are required?
A: Written proof from a licensed veterinarian of Bordetella (given at least 7 days before the visit), Distemper (DHP/DAP/DHPP) and Rabies.
Q: Are dogs grouped by size?
A: Yes. We match dogs by size, temperament and energy level and do not mix large and small breeds. Shy or senior dogs always have calm spaces to rest.
Q: What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
A: Daycare runs Monday to Saturday. Drop-off is 6:00am–12:00pm and pick-up is 3:00pm–6:00pm. Half-day pick-up is within four hours of drop-off.
Q: Do dogs need to be spayed or neutered?
A: Unaltered dogs are welcome, but male dogs must be neutered by 1 year of age. Dogs must be social and comfortable around other dogs.
